Before I introduce you to the next participant of the Yellow Road, I will publish here a letter of proposal from my American friend, the manager of one of my sculptural projects, Mr. Serge Marjasovs. We continue to search for the form of submission of materials in our articles ..
A Golf Clubs Display
Proposal of Artworks by
Sergey Evtuhov
Prepared by S. Marjasovs
May 2018
Proposal/Sculpture Description
My proposal consists of S. Evtuhov’s sculptures from his body of work (i.e., King and Queen,
Wounded Tiger, and Girl with Nude Torso). The sculptures will be located in open areas
(designated spaces in golf club field). These sculptures symbolize the feeling of discovering
something great from within. Working with geometric shapes, and carefully selected proportions
for them, allows the author to achieve a wonderful "sculptural freshness ", which, of course,
highlights all of his work. I can visualize these sculptures catching the eyes of players walking
through the fields. I also believe the gracefulness between structure and size of the sculptures
will enrich the natural beauty of the area through balanced patterns. Throughout the year the
shape and color of the sculptures will build an appreciation of the golf club’s natural landscape.
The main material of sculptures is concrete.
Budget to be discussed.
Background of the Artist
Sergey Evtuhov is a Russian painter, sculptor, and author based in Vilnius, Lithuania. He has
held over 35 solo exhibitions [1]1 in Vilnius (Lithuania), Riga (Latvia), Helsinki (Finland), Stresa
(Italy) (Italy is not reflected in Wiki as of yet) of the 9 International exhibitions (list attached).
And four out of 35 are author sculptured exhibitions.
In 2006, Sergey proposed and organized an unusual sculptural exhibition in open space in a
beautiful place between two lakes near Druskininkai (Lithuania) [2]2. (See attached artworks).
Sergey’s works are kept in private collections in the U.S., Canada, France, Russia, Lithuania and
other countries. There have been approximately 20 articles [3]3 published about his artworks in
the last three years.
Sergey is an active writer about the arts as well as artists. His published books (How I Spent
Summer and Thunderbird Proudly Hovers) have received international literary awards.

Sergey’s sculptures were shown publicly for the first time in 2006; three years prior to the
scandal around Tiger Woods. :)
Sculptures could make golf club unique among others, add beauty to green fields, give players
and visitors deep feeling about space and atmosphere of the place. It is like final mark on almost
ready art painting.
Picture of the chosen sculptures (King and Queen, Wounded Tiger, and Girl with Nude Torso)
could be used for Golf Club logo or other promotional designs. Small copies will add reminders
to visitors’ mind. Their forms could also be used for or on winner’s bowl(s).
More S. Evtuhov’s sculptures could be added to the art project that will form a unique space:
golf club and art gallery under the open sky at one time.
